To verify/update your student information, you will need to access the Aeries Parent Portal . If you do not already have an Aeries Parent Portal account, the primary parent contacts will be sent an email with instructions on how to access the portal. Instructions are also enclosed and can be found on the district website at www.walnutcreeksd.org(portal access via laptop or desktop computer is recommended).

You must have an email address on file to complete online registration. If you don’t have an email address on file, please contact the school’s office manager to update that information.

These instructions will guide you through the 3 steps online registration process:

  • Step 1 - Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF) Annual Fund
  • Step 2 - Student Information Update using the Aeries Parent Portal (Required)

Once ALL 7 sections are completed and saved, click on ‘Confirm and Continue’ to complete the process.

  • Step 3 - Create and/or update your account in Membership Toolkit (Required), and fill all the forms.

All purchases and donations are OPTIONAL and can be made either online using a credit card

Due to Covid-19 safety protocols, we will not be hosting a traditional Welcome Back Day at school. However, this process must be completed in order to receive your child’s class/schedule prior to school starting.

Residency verification this year is only required for returning 6th graders, families who have moved, and new families upon registration.

  • If your student is a continuing 6th grader in WCSD, you have not moved, and you did not complete residency verification with your 5th grade elementary school in the spring, you will need to provide 2 current bills from Group 2 listed in this document to the office manager at WCI or Tice Creek.
  • If you have moved, you will need to provide proof of residency to your school site office manager by providing the required documents from Group 1 and Group 2 as listed in this document.
  • If you are new to the district and registered over the summer, or during TK/K registration, you will not need to re-verify your residency.

We appreciate your consideration of supporting collaborative fundraising through the Walnut Creek Education Foundation and joining your school’s PTA/PTO.

Mark your calendars…Monday, 17th August is the first day of school with ALL students starting in distance learning mode.  Though 2020/2021 may look different, we look forward to a great school year!

 Your Child's Education Directly Benefits

From Your Donation to WCEF

Welcome to the 2020 school year!  Every year, Indian Valley Elementary relies on donations to WCEF to help fund a well-rounded, competitive education for your child.

Your donation to WCEF helps provide:

  • Salaries for more than 20 specialists and teachers in Art, Music, Science, PE, and Math
  • 36 weeks of Art, Music, & Science classes (TK-5) and PE (1-5)
  • Time for teacher collaboration
  • Professional math coaching for teachers and students

We are very fortunate to live in a community that values public schools. Since 1983, the Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF TK-12) has invested funds from parents and the community back into our schools to enhance education for all students.

Though we are starting school in a distance learning environment, our students still depend on donations to WCEF to provide district-wide programs and salaries at all WCSD schools and Las Lomas High School. Our schools are facing the worst budgets in decades. WCEF is committed to remaining nimble as we continue to serve our students, staff and administrators this year and in years to come.

We ask 100% of our families to participate every academic year by making a tax-deductible donation that's right for their budget.

California’s shrinking education budget can affect your child through reduced access to the arts and science, fewer electives, reduced library hours, little to no additional math support, lack of counselors/support staff, and more. This doesn’t have to happen. Help deliver an enhanced education to our students. Donate to WCEF today!

Together, with the Indian Valley PTO, we can offer students an enhanced education and families a
community that makes the education of your child, and every student, a priority.

EVERY STUDENT BENEFITS. EVERY DOLLAR MATTERS.

Since 1983, WCEF has been investing donations from parents and community members directly back into the Walnut Creek School District and Las Lomas High School to deliver a well-rounded and competitive education for your child. Visit www.wcefk12.org for more information.
